Rocco Panetta’s stance on the state of Italian law firms’ governance and management in light of the recent approval of the annual market and competion law was collected in an article published on the last issue of the specialized magazine Top Legal.
Panetta’s view was that the introduction of third parties’ capitals and expertise in the governance of firms may foster the birth of a more managerial and well organised culture of work in the legal services industry. This would definitely benefit both lawyers and clients, however, there are still many national systemic obstacles to overcome.
