As an AI and tech lawyer, it is an honor to be part of these complex and fascinating process, that will silently shape the future of artificial intelligence regulation.
Standards will probably consist in one of the backbones for responsible AI development, ensuring that technology not only advances but also aligns with ethical principles, safety, and inclusivity.
Moreover, as you may know, art. 40(1) of the AI Act states that High-risk AI systems or GPAI models which are in conformity with harmonised standards shall be presumed to be in conformity with High-risk AI and GPAI obligations.
